trip might be the right choice for you.
Flowing out of the many Tennessee
Valley Authority dams, tailwaters are rich
environments supporting sizable
populations of larger trout. Smoky
Mountain Gillies offers float trips on four
East Tennessee rivers. The Clinch and

in the Johnson City/Bristol area.
Float trips last between 8 and 10 hours, and include all gear, life jackets, and shuttle
fees. Casting instruction is available if required and lunch is provided. We can under
certain circumstances accommodate a third angler. Spin-fishing is also permitted on
some trips.

be preferable for those clients who are concerned about wading in swiftly moving water.
